There are different ways to import recipes into the app :
- You can search compatible recipes with integrated search engine and then use Import button of My CookBook.
- You can share a compatible recipe page from your mobile web browser.
- You can copy/paste url of the recipe in My CookBook in the "Search & Import" page

Your app used to import internet recipes just fine. I'll use this old gal's site as an example. For the last month whenever I try to import and internet recipe it says it's not supported and just saves the link. It does this with every single recipe, even ones from sites I've imported from in the past.
The latest update will not import recipes from the web. I have tried on both phone and tablet and it just keeps hanging...
Why when I import recipes from the web, it imports a photo...looks great...but-- when I reopen the app, ALL the photos are gone???

Could you check in your device settings that the "Storage" permission is enabled?
Go to Settings / Apps / My CookBook / Permissions / Storage

if you have an online account, you just have to synchronize your app with your online account. It will download your recipes on your mobile device.
